For Four-Year ‘Alimiyat + Matric / Intermediate

COURSE OVERVIEW

A balanced and integrated curriculum has been designed by combining religious and contemporary education in such a way that the student progresses in an organized and gradual manner from the basic level to higher specializations.

The curriculum begins with languages (Urdu, Arabic, and English) and the foundational sciences of Sarf (morphology) and Nahw (syntax). Thereafter, subjects such as Fiqh, Islamic studies, Hadith, and other religious sciences are included. In the later stages, students are taught Translation of the Holy Qur’an, ‘Alimiyyah, Fadilah, and contemporary academic courses, so that they may develop intellectual maturity, religious insight, and modern skills. Alongside this, arrangements are also made for various specializations, enabling students to serve the community with higher scholarly competence and professional capability.

Arabic Literature: Prose lessons – Minhaj al-‘Arabiyyah, Durus al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah

Islamic Studies: Introduction to beliefs and acts of worship – Ta‘lim al-Islam (Part I)

Urdu Language & Literature: Grammar, spelling, copying exercises – Hamari Kitab (Part

I & II)

Arabic Language & Literature: Qasas al-Nabiyyin (Part I), Expression and Translation

Sarf: ‘Ilm al-Tasrif

Nahw: Al-Nahw al-Wazih (Part I)

Arabic Literature: Al-Qira’ah al-Rashidah (Part I), Qasas al-Nabiyyin (Part II)

Fiqh: Purification, Prayer, Zakah – Al-Fiqh al-Muyassar

Seerah: Rahmat al-‘Alam, Muhadarat al-Seerah

Nahw: Al-Nahw al-Wazih (Part II)

Arabic Language & Literature: Al-Qira’ah al-Rashidah (Part II), Qasas al-Nabiyyin (Part

Composition & Expression: Mu‘allim al-Insha’ (Part I)

Fiqh: Fasting, Hajj, Umrah – followed by Nur al-Izah

Seerah: Khilafatur Rashidah

Contemporary Education (Along with Snawiyah)

During the two years of Sanawiyah, students are also enrolled in Grade 9 and Grade 10 (Matriculation) according to the curriculum prescribed by the Bihar School Examination Board, Patna.

Fiqh: Introductory section of transactions – Quduri

Usul al-Fiqh: Aasan Usul al-Fiqh

Usul al-Hadith: Aasan Usul al-Hadith

Hadith: Mishkat al -Masabih up to the Book of Salah; Memorization of 40 selected

Arabic Language & Literature: Qasas al -Nabiyyin (Part IV & V) along with composition

and writing practice

Translation of the Holy Qur’an: From Juz 1 to Juz 12

Compulsory Courses Along with ‘Alimiyat

Students have the option either to enroll in Intermediate (Class 11 & 12) or to complete any one

of the diploma courses available on campus.

Class 11 and Class 12 according to the syllabus prescribed by the Bihar School Examination

After completing ‘Alimiyat, students will enrol in the first year of Fazilat. This is a three-year advanced program. Alongside it, students must enrol in one of the approved degree courses and complete it simultaneously.

Fiqh: Hidayah (First Volume)

Usul al-Fiqh: Advanced principles of jurisprudence
